Iftar at Iz's Place

Ramadhan is a month of blessing.. Muahaha.. So, hari ni berbuka dengan sedapnya at Iz's Place.. We have chicken, fish, squid, vege, lentil (i think this is what it's called, courtesy of Husna), and apple crumble and also Chocolate ice cream cake as dessert.. Yum yum.. Husna (Bangladeshi) and Dalia (Jordanian) are my classmates, but Shazia (Indian from India) is taking ... hmm.. I dont know... Maybe i'll find out later...

After breaking fast, feeling bored, so walk around our flat.. But since, lots of mat salleh dah mula mabuk2, we just went to the harbour and the lepak place near the Hippodrome... So here are the pics.. hampeh sket, sebab angin kuat gilla, cant manage to stand still ti take pictures..

Today we went shopping at carboot sale. Okey lah jugak compare ngan barang-barang yang dijual kat kedai biasa. Me beli sikit aje barang. Tapi kira baloi la jugak. Actually we can tawar menawar lagi. Tapi maybe tak reti sangat lagi. Later dah hebat, satu carboot kami borong.. Hehehe... Kesimpulan, kalau nak gi carboot yang tinggi-tinggi, sila pakai gloves supaya tangan mampu memegang barang-barang di kala kesejukan yang maksima... And then petang, berjalan2 di sekitar Bristol.. best.. Malam, makan bersama2 beramai2 sebab Iman nak abiskan rationnya.. dia mau pulang ke tanah air... besok siang...

Daytime, meeting the Malays-Keluarga Bristol at Knowles. But, lupa nak tangkap any picture, except yang tengah tunggu bas. And then, evening, attended Nasi Lemak Night (NLN) at Manor Hall (tempat tinggal students jugak, but mostly undergrads), organized by Malaysia Singapore Student Association. Interesting. Jumpa muka baru and lama. Dee takde, gi London, and Ida too tired to berjalan2.. So it was just Ari, Iman and me. Iman ni same course with us, except she's our senior.. Isnin ni balik Malaysia dah.... So, gambar-gambar yang last tu, Iman tengah mengemas la tu. Sempat tangkap gambar depan rumah dia. Hehe, since malam, gambar pun, night mode la.... Mueheheh...

This is a picture of our tempat melepak while waiting for our class. Dahlia is a girl from Jordan.. Terrer giller programming.. Walhal, baru aje grad.. Sungguh malu, walaupun tua dari dia tapi hampeh.. The other picture is St Micheal's Hill. Rumah Erzam.. As usual, tuan punya takde.. Actually nak naik umah dia, but, her wife tengah tido, maklum aa pregnant, so tak jadi naik...

Castle Park is just beside Broadmead. Since today is a nice day, with the sun smilling at us, we lepak at the park. Haha.. Sejuk gilla ni... Ari, Irene and me. Irene is another Malaysian, taking the same course as us. Dia ni la yang happy jumpa Melayu sebab rindu nak cakap Melayu..

Easton is a place where we can get halal meat. We were craving for ayam. So, had to go to Easton. It's either by train or bus. Bloody bloody bla, we took a train. Dokek yo, naik train. But since it's Sat, not so many train available. At Easton, our friend Iz was waiting for us. Baru perasan, no picture of Iz, never mind, later, perhaps. Iz is staying there with her husband, Rizal. No picture of him too, hampeh tul. So those pictures were taken, after we have done our grocery shopping (hari2 beli grocery), while waiting for Iz's tomyam. Lapar nasik ni...

Hehe. Not that I planned for it, but I had to. Ponteng kelas to open a bank account, visit the booths at the Fresh 2004 Exhibition and also to do some grocery shopping. I'm totally sick of Maggi Mee. Fresh is a very interesting place, but it is also a hectic one. All the clubs and associations open their booths during the day. Didnt have the time to at least snap a picture, since I cant barely move. Get lots of goodies. I get a cactus. Yey! Since today is the last day, not so many item are still available. But Dee manage to get a senduk, file and other stuffs yesterday. Hehe, look at that cactus label, and you'll know where it is from. Ada orang tanya, taknak masuk Gay Bristol Club???

This is when, I took pictures of views from my room. And Broadmead is a place where I buy bread. Serious, that's where Tesco is located. It's not very far from our flat, but the police in fron of our flat said, we have to take a bus to go there.. bloody, bloody, bla, bla, bla<-my new lecturer's fav phrase... (tipu ah, jalan dekat aje, dalam 15 minit...)
